INTERHOUSE SWIMMING GALA:

Wow, what an exciting day, filled with great spirit, excellent swimming,

loads of fun and sunshine. Eagles won….

the wooden spoon, with 258 points!!!!

In 3rd place were Falcons with 262 points, 2nd Kestrels with 367 points and

1st were Hawks, with 385 points.  Very well done Hawks!  The Hawks’ teachers’ team spirit must have been your driving force, especially the rivalry between Mrs Meiring and Mr Pugh!! The coveted Spirit Cup was shared by The Falcons and the Hawks.

The Junior Girls’ Individual Medley was won by Olivia Barrow

and the Boys’ Junior Individual Medley was won by Finley Barnes.

Olivia Barrow won the Junior Victrix Ludorum, for scoring  the most points,

while Finley Barnes won the Junior Victor Ludorum.

Sarah Field won The Girls’ Senior Individual Medley and Sam Barnes won

the Boys’ Senior Individual Medley. They both won the Junior medleys last year.

Sarah Field took the cup for the Senior Girls’ Victrix Ludorum, and Sam

Barnes took the Senior Boys’ Vicor Ludorum cup. They both won these trophies in the Junior category last year.  Congratulations for consistent excellence!

The Coach’s Cup was won by Lemo Bulwa, for just missing the Senior Victor Ludorum trophy.

Congratulations to every swimmer, winner, runner up and cheerleader.  You all did your  part magnificently to make the day a most enjoyable one for all.  Special thanks goes to Mr Pugh, along with Mrs Meiring and Mrs Robbertse, for organising the day so meticulously. To all the teachers, thank for your help and support on the day. The day would be incomplete without the support of parents, so thank you too!
